Guatemala, Alaska Natural Process
This is another solid offering from Finca La Esperanza, in Huehuetenango Guatemala. This coffee was named Alaska because it is from the highest most remote, and most particular part of the farm. It is said to have its own microclimate. The microclimate makes it a bit more challenging to grow coffee says Rodin, but they must have figured it out to some extent this year.
This is a delightful natural process coffee, it's clean and clear! It has an unctuous (go look it up) body to boot. Greatly appreciate the balance the cup brings to the table too! This will be a sweet coffee with flavors of wild strawberries!
